Laser Sensors - Human Input Devices
Philips Photonics has developed an extensive product range of Twin-Eye Laser™ sensors based on Philips Laser Doppler technology. These dual laser sensors are developed for use in human input devices for consumer and professional products such as PC peripherals, gaming applications and trackball devices.
The Twin-Eye Laser™ sensors are the first and only completely integrated, highprecision, ultra-fast and low power navigation sensors. These sensors give best in class tracking performance on virtually all surfaces, enable a long battery life and have a uniquely small size. They give customers and manufacturers a high degree of freedom in design of their product. The Philips Laser Doppler technology has set a new standard for future advanced navigation needs.
Eye safety compliance: The Philips Twin-Eye Laser™ sensors meet Class 1M eye safety requirements and contain an active redundant protection system to ensure laser safety in case of internal and external hardware failure. Full support through sensor datasheets and application notes is available.
